Deborah Anderson.  Assemblage Sculpture & Photography

My creations are visual expressions reflecting moments of life based in subjective experience as well as objective fact. I like to think of my art as a narrative reminder of where I've been, where I am, and where I'm going.

Always drawn to the provocative, edgy, controversial, and moved by the political environment and issues which impact our personal lives and larger world, I create what I am attracted to and apply my personal experiences into the subject matter.

My work strives to represent the connection and commonality we may share when the familiar is visualized. It is this kinship I wish to convey; we are not all that different from one another.

I believe we are all here to help one another create meaning in our lives.

My work seeks the same.
